    In order of preference: Kampala, Addis Ababa, Nairobi. 
    Candidates based in other East African countries are eligible to apply as well. 
    Working hours
    Full-time position (40 hours per week).

    Key responsibilities

    • Engage closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic and operational guidance.

    • Coach management teams to strengthen leadership and execution.

    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) in line with investment goals.

    • Conduct site visits (1–2 per year) to assess progress and identify improvement opportunities.

    • Support investees in achieving operational excellence and sustainable impact.

    • Monitor and report on financial and impact performance.

    • Support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities, including financial analysis, commercial due diligence, and transaction structuring.

    Qualifications

    • Strong soft skills: communication, adaptability, teamwork, and emotional intelligence.

    • At least 5 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, or general management within Sub-Saharan Africa.

    • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural and entrepreneurial environments.

    • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

    • Solid understanding of financial statements and reporting.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience in manufacturing and/or agro-processing and/or tech sectors.

    • Genuine commitment to sustainable, impact-driven investing.

    • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
