Welcome Peter
This month, we are excited to welcome Peter Clinton Mutumba to the Oxano Capital family.
Peter is an impact-driven investment professional with extensive experience supporting businesses across Sub-Saharan Africa. He previously worked at BiD Capital Partners, where he supported impact-focused SME portfolios through program management, investment advisory, transaction advisory, and fund management services.He has worked closely with entrepreneurs, fund managers, and development partners across multiple African markets, combining strong financial analysis with hands-on support to help businesses raise capital, improve performance, and scale sustainably. His experience spans investment analysis, valuation, due diligence, and post-investment value creation, with a strong focus on practical execution.
Peter is deeply passionate about supporting impact-driven businesses and sees joining Oxano Capital as a natural step in his career, allowing him to continue backing high-potential companies that create meaningful economic and social value across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys playing tennis and traveling, and is always curious to learn from new places and perspectives.
